Two hundred and twenty motor vehicles, 200 horses, 21 carriages, 13 marching bands and half a million spectators join the Lord Mayor and his glorious State Coach in the world's largest unrehearsed parade through the streets of London as the city's 681st Lord Mayor is inaugurated. Clare Balding meets some of the 6,000 parade participants and Paul Dickenson sets the scene.
