The Lost Prince - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Part 1
Through young Prince Johnnie's eyes, the grandeur and pomp of Edwardian Britain are unfurled. Johnnie is a charming and attractive boy, loved for his frankness by his ailing grandfather King Edward VII, uninhibited and with an eccentric view of the world quite alien to his parents. He also suffers from epilepsy and so he and his devoted nanny Lalla are to be exiled to Sandringham in Norfolk. Though distanced from his father King George V and his mother Queen Mary, Prince Johnnie still remains a witness to the collapse of this apparently indestructible dynasty into the chaos of the First World War.

Part 2
The young children of the monarch, George V, watch with bemusement as their elders become weighed down by the effects of the conflagration that has enveloped the continent. Through this tragedy the bright spirit of Johnnie remains undimmed.
