Chas continues to make friends with Nicky but at some cost to himself.

Chas shows great ingenuity in recruiting help and finding materials to complete the fortress.
Episode 4
The Fortress goes to action stations for the first time.
Episode 5
The machine-gun has jammed, and with the threat of a German invasion increasing, Chas is desperate to get it mended.
Episode 6
When the Church Bells are rung as a signal that the Germans have landed, Chas and the gang prepare to defend the Fortress.
