The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today - Season 1

Saku Fukuzawa always brings a tasty lunch to work, but she swears she can't cook. In fact, she seems like kind of a mess for someone who's still single. Good thing she's the owner of Yukichi, a masterful who can cook and clean like nobody's business.

On that snowy night, Yukichi decided he would take care of the woman who saved him. Little did he know what he was getting himself into. Now, since Saku is freaking out that her superior might've met Yukichi in person, Yukichi silences her with alcohol.

Yukichi is depressed again today, thinking about all the problems with his owner, Saku. How can an adult human who can't even separate trash make it through life? Doing this and that, Yukichi takes care of Saku's daily life.

The day of the aquarium event finally arrives! Saku keeps telling Yukichi that it's not a date, but he seems to keep misunderstanding? Either way, she heads over to the aquarium and finds that Chief Orizuka has a little surprise with him!

Saku and Yukichi receive invitations to Yume's birthday party. Yukichi convinces Saku that it'll be completely fine to attend since it'll be a costume party. However, will Saku and Yukichi really be able to fool all the parents and children there?!

As the days get cooler, Saku wants to pull out their kotatsu. However, she had forgotten theirs had to be thrown out due to certain events. Later, Saku's mother starts bothering her for pictures of Yukichi which causes a great photography dilemma.

Saku's coworkers bring up marriage, putting Saku into a panic. Would she be able to get married to someone while having Yukichi by her side?! What if the other person found out about his masterful skills? Her cat is too talented for her to get married!

There are many things to worry about lately. Yukichi finds Yume in a box with an abandoned kitten. There's a flyer about a suspicious man who has been assaulting women at night in the neighborhood and Saku always comes home late...

A masterful cat can not only take care of his owner and their home, he can also get along well with his neighbors. As a considerate cat, Yukichi does his part in the community by volunteering to help clean up the neighborhood park.

Saku completely forgets about her company trip and suddenly has to prepare herself for two days without Yukichi by her side. She's super worried, but Yukichi helps her prepare with ease. Though, his calm demeanor makes her feel even more lonely...

One day, Saku discovers that her skirt doesn't quite fit like it used to. Yukichi freaks out and tries to limit her late night snacking, but Saku refuses. She's sure she can lose it with exercise alone! Don't take away her happiness in life!

Many workers struggle with the Monday blues. However, Yuri and Oshiro find that Saku comes into work every Monday at the top of her game. Perhaps she knows of some kind of secret countermeasure?! In actuality, Saku only thinks about work and Yukichi.

Yukichi reminisces about his past as he continues to spend his days with his worthless human. Though he has new worries every day, he manages to get by with is masterful skills. After all, he is the most masterful of cats.
