Shen Hou and Yan Xiaochen fell in love with each other at first sight. But life presents them with unpleasant surprises.
Due to the death of her father and the difficulties that have arisen in the family, Xiaochen is forced to work part-time in a bar to pay for her studies at the university. One day she meets Cheng Zhiyuan, a handsome rich guy who is courting a girl, causing Shen Hou's jealousy.
The lovers' wedding is canceled due to suddenly revealed family circumstances. Yan Xiaochen finds herself in a difficult situation and becomes heavily dependent on Cheng Zhiyuan, who warmly cares for his girlfriend. However, Shen Hou reappears in their lives, who reveals the innermost secret of Zhiyuan.
