We end the first half of the season with a very special flashback episode. We rewind to Mindy's first day at Schulman and Associates to see just how much her relationship with Danny has changed in the last few years.

The mid-season premiere picks up with Mindy and Jody hosting a group of wild college girls, in town for spring break to get their eggs frozen. When Mindy gets distracted by a romantic night with Danny, the girls wreak havoc on New York City.

Mindy tries to get back into the dating scene and meets a good prospect (The Walking Dead's Ross Marquand). When he fast tracks their relationship, Tamra suspects something is up, and she and Mindy set off to figure out his deal.

When Mindy realizes she doesn't have her financial affairs in order, she goes to Jeremy's ex, Whitney, to help clean up her mess.

In search of a no-strings-attached hookup, Mindy dabbles with online dating. After a few embarrassing encounters, she steps up and asks for what she wants. Jody accidentally invites everyone over for a viewing party of the office's favorite TV show.

Mindy dates an Indian guy who calls her a "coconut," Indian on the outside and white on the inside. Hurt by this, Mindy starts hanging out with more Indian people to see if it's true. Jody and Morgan fight over the same girl, who has a shocking secret.

When Mindy's old flame Casey (Anders Holm) returns to New York, Mindy is confronted with the dangerous temptation of sliding back into a relationship with an ex-boyfriend.

Mindy's favorite patient wants to have a baby with her on-again-off-again boyfriend. Mindy disapproves and tries to prevent it, professional boundaries be damned. Power goes to the nurses' heads when they convert Danny's office into a lounge.

On an unexpected trip to visit Peter in Texas, Mindy tries to use a handsome stranger to soothe her relationship troubles. Meanwhile, Peter keeps a big secret from his wife, Lauren.

Things get complicated when Jody's new girlfriend decides to accompany Jody, Mindy and Morgan on a trip to Mindy's alma mater for a presentation.

Mindy has Saturday plans with her new boyfriend, but when she's forced to play in a hospital-wide softball tournament, she struggles to keep her romantic life seperate from her work life.

Mindy gets a chance to turn Leo into a child star, so she asks Jeremy to teach her the basics of being a momager.

Morgan and Jeremy visit Danny at his new office, and Mindy ends up getting a mysterious new patient. Meanwhile, a dirty secret threatens to derail her budding romance.

A mishap at Leo's school forces Danny and Mindy to spend time together; Jody tries to win back Mindy's trust with an extravagant gift.
