When Mike is hired to work for a toy company, he meets Mr. Daggert (Stan Freberg), a cold-hearted business man who believes toys should only be designed by computers. Daggert fires a kindly old toymaker, but Mike--and the rest of the Monkees--won't stand for that decision.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Kidnappers
It looks like the Monkees might win a band contest, but not if Nick Trump can help it. He befriends the Monkees, all the while plotting to have them kidnapped so his clients, the Four Swine, can win.

The Monkees end up in possession of stolen microfilm, and a spy agency enlists their help to keep it from falling into Russia's hands.

The Success Story
Davy fears that if his visiting grandfather finds out he isn't a success, he will rip Davy away from his best friends and take him back to England.

There's a horse in the house when Davy takes in a young boy's horse. Chaos with the landlord and a veterinarian breaks out! The boys must figure out a way to make sure the little boy is able to keep his horse, and it includes farm work and Davy acting as a jockey.

The Chaperone
Davy's newest gal has a strict father and is only allowed to attend chaperoned parties, so the Monkees hire their cleaning lady. But when the woman passes out from too much alcohol, Micky dons a dress and wig and takes her place.

Here Come the Monkees
In this pilot episode, the Monkees get hired to play Vanessa Russell's birthday party, but when she becomes infatuated with Davy, her studying for school falls by the wayside. If her grades don't improve, the Monkees are out of a gig.

Monkees à la Carte
The Monkees have a plan to wrestle ownership of a restaurant away from gangsters. It involves working as waiters--and posing as gangsters--all at the same time.

I've Got a Little Song Here
The usually smart Mike is conned by a phony song publisher. Micky, Davy, and Peter plot to get Mike's money back. Featuring the first appearance of the Monkeemen.

One Man Shy (a.k.a. Peter and the Debutante)
Poor Peter falls for wealthy Valerie Cartwright. The other Monkees make sure Valerie notices Peter.

All of the Monkees-except Davy--get conned into lifetime contracts with a shady dance studio. Davy gets a job as an instructor there while they plot how to bring down the studio and free themselves from lessons they can't afford.

Mrs. Badderly wants her daughter, Fern, to have a career in show business with Davy as her partner, even if it means breaking up the Monkees!

Monkees on the Line
While working at a phone answering service, Davy delivers an incriminating message to a policeman in front of his wife, Peter ticks off some crooks trying to place bets, and Mike comes to the rescue of a suicidal actress.
