In the opening edition, Amy Hollis is on the hunt for a drunk driver who has been on a late-night wrecking spree through the streets of Chester, leaving a trail of damage to parked cars.

Episode 2
Officer Matt Turner brings a car to a stop in the middle of the motorway, coming across an unexpected haul as well as a surprising passenger who stops him in his tracks. On a night shift, Niaz Waddington encounters a driver with no lights on and it quickly becomes clear the motorist has been drinking.

Episode 3
A suspected drug dealer has an unusual explanation for the suspicious contents of his car - but an even bigger surprise faces the police when they also search his home. Chris Swash is on the trail of a dangerous driver, PC Amy Hollis stops a late-night motorist running red lights in the town centre, and two drivers clash after a collision.

Episode 4
PC Andy Doran goes on the hunt for a suspected car thief who has abandoned his vehicle on a housing estate. After an exhaustive search, he is left with no option but to send in a police dog to sniff out the suspect. PC Amy Hollis is called to a horrific collision between a car and a motorbike. With the motorcyclist facing life-changing injuries, Amy needs to investigate how it happened. A team of officers led by PC Niaz Waddington use ANPR camera technology to track down a carload of suspected supermarket robbers. What they anticipate being a straightforward operation turns into a chaotic nightmare as the car's four occupants, high on drugs, refuse to play ball.

Episode 5
Inspector Anton Sullivan is left baffled by the strange behaviour of a motorist who fails to stop, while officer David Reed races to deliver life-saving equipment to a motorist with a suspected heart attack. A motorway collision has left two people stranded in the outside lane, but Niaz Waddington is struggling to get to them and there is a danger there could be another crash if he doesn't quickly secure the scene.

Episode 6
A driver leaves the scene after a head-on collision between two cars, leaving his daughter and her boyfriend behind in the wreckage. PC Ian Cosgrove is called out to help a driver on the notorious Thelwall Viaduct, but torrential rain threatens his rescue attempt, while a good Samaritan sees his brand new car destroyed when he comes to the aid of another motorist.

Episode 7
PC Amy Hollis is on the hunt for a drunk driver who has been on a late-night wrecking spree through the streets of Chester, leaving a trail of damage to parked cars, while Mike Clark is cracking down on boy racers who are terrorising the locals in Warrington.

Episode 8
PC Chris Swash is part of a team hunting for a gang of ruthless burglars and in a desperate attempt to escape the closing net, the men crash their car and flee on foot. Meanwhile, PC Ian Cosgrove has an emergency on the motorway to deal with after a van wheel spins off, shoots across the central reservation and strikes an oncoming car.
