Episode 1
The three Nest families are asked to live a new routine for one week. They are told that it's another family's normal routine. A family who is just as busy, but who claim that they are content with their work-life balance.

Episode 2
The families continue living their new ‘contented' routines. The audience meets the families whose lives they are mirroring. It is revealed that the ‘contented' families all live in an area that a university study has found to have high well-being scores

Episode 3
Back at home, the three families are visited by the The Nest expert. He gives them routines to live for the remainder of the experiment. The routines include the ‘healthy habits' that drive contentment.

Episode 4
Our families continue living their new schedules. They adjust them according to their individual needs with The Nest expert's guidance. All families play a Nest board game that aims to find out how well they knoweach other.

Episode 5
The Nest expert continues working with the families and sets tasks depending on each individual's / family's circumstance. Participants are visited by ‘mentors' who have successfully faced similar challenges in their lives.

This Old House
The mission of This Old House is to demystify the home improvement process and to celebrate the fusion of old world craftsmanship and modern technology. Each season features two renovation projects. Project One traditionally consists of eighteen or so episodes and is filmed in Massachusetts. Project Two is generally taped in a different region of the country to highlight the variety of American architectural styles and renovation issues.
