The New Atlanta - Season 1

Welcome to "The A," Baby! They don't call this town "Hotlanta" for nothing. In the premiere episode, aspiring singer Africa invites Emily to attend her friend Alex's college graduation celebration. Things start out friendly enough but tensions soon flare as Emily, owner of a trendy Atlanta fashion boutique, takes offense at Alex's admission that she dreams of becoming a trophy wife. Later at her birthday party, Africa entertains two potential suitors, Vawn and Tribble, but her hopes of making a love connection are dashed when her feuding friends Emily and Alex disrupt the party. Such is life when Atlanta's hottest come out to play.

Insults are hurled, and so is something else, when Emily and Alex go for round two of their argument at Africa's birthday party. Tribble gets Africa's number in hopes of kindling a new flame. Vawn hopes to see Africa perform, but will technical difficulties sink her chance at stardom?

As their friendship continues to unravel, Africa confronts Alex about failing to apologize for the fight at her party. Vawn puts the moves on Africa leaving Tribble hurt and angry. Emily's world is turned upside down when her ex-boyfriend shows up at her store's grand reopening.

Africa is falling hard for Vawn even as Tribble and Emily grow increasingly suspicious of the producer-turned-paramour's intentions. After a wild night out on the town, Emily makes a startling accusation against her ex. As Africa looks on, Alex decides to make her move to seduce Vawn.

Vawn serves up dinner when a typically flirtatious Alex drops by his home for an unexpected visit. Africa confronts Vawn about his relationship with Alex. Emily throws a fashion show for charity but things get ugly when Alex and Africa's feud reaches to a boiling point.

Emily hosts a BBQ and uses the opportunity to grill Vawn about his relationships with Alex and Africa. Alex doubles down on her quest to win Vawn's heart. Africa is blindsided by Vawn when a mysterious lady in blue captures her man's attention during a night out at the club.

Fed up, Africa confronts Vawn about standing her up at the club. Alex accuses Vawn of neglecting her. Chaos ensues when Emily and Tribble challenge Vawn's ideas on love at a seminar to promote his new book.

Tribble and Vawn have a tense stand off as the two come face-to-face for the first time since their throw-down at Vawn's seminar. Emily's ex-boyfriend Justin shows up unannounced on her doorstep. Vawn is forced to choose between Africa and Alex.
