The New Lassie - Season 2

Sandy Frank, an older man (Gale Gordon) may lose his dog when his landlady (Margaret O'Brien) decides to forbid pets.

Megan uncovers some shenanigans when she enters Lassie in a dog show to catch the eye of a well-heeled classmate.

At the beach, Will makes friends with Frankie, a shy girl, and Megan tries to cheer up a boy (Jay Lambert) who is despondent over having to repeat a grade at school. Lasssie becomes a lifeguard.

Will reads an entry in Megan's diary about her first kiss, and then plagiarizes it for an essay-writing contest.

A dishonest land developer (Robert Walker) tries to buy the families' traditional meeting lodge.
