The New WKRP in Cincinnati - Season 1

In the series pilot, Mr. Carlson scrambles to save the station following the program director's on-air tirade. Part 1 of two.

Conclusion. Mr. Carlson summons the aid of former staffers Jennifer Marlowe and Johnny Fever in an attempt to save the station.

Mr. Carlson's son becomes the newest employee at WKRP --- and Herb is not thrilled.

After a dog bite convinces Les that his death is imminent, he makes a pledge to live each day as if it were his last.

Herb gets in trouble with his wife for buying a lottery ticket. Art Jr buys it off him, but then the ticket wins.

Mona helps Mr. Carlson prepare for a poker tournament against rival WPIG as she can't play herself due to a gambling problem.

When marital problems between Jack and Dana escalate into a food fight at an upscale restaurant, it leaves the staffers to find a way to positively spin the events before they ruin the station.

On his way to Chicago, Johnny Fever stops by the station. When word of his visit gets out, it seems a lot of people are looking for him. Part one of two.

Conclusion. Disguises can't hide Johnny from the group of former acquaintances that's after him, so the WKRP staff steps in to assist. 

When a storm damages WKRP's emergency warning system, the staff thinks it's under nuclear attack. 

The station airs a vintage radio drama to boost ratings, but ends up with a "War of the Worlds" reaction.

Deejay-turned-executive Venus Flytrap drops by at the station -- and wastes no time ordering everyone around. 

Donovan hires three young rap artists as interns---but soon suspects that they're rip-off artists instead. 

Claire moves in with Mona after a cooking accident, and Claire's boyfriend's eye soon wanders.

When a DJ learns he's about to be fired, he barricades himself in the broadcast booth -- and blasts the station on the air.

Jennifer returns with her finance, a Prince, but her friends at the station are convinced he is using her for her money and ruin her wedding party.

WKRP gets all shook up when a rival station sponsors an Elvis-lookalike contest. 

Trouble follows Johnny Fever on another visit to WKRP, as he deals with his mother and the station deals with a naked DJ and a surprise FCC visit.

Les gets an alarming note from a stalker, while Herb starts a sideline selling karaoke machines.

Herb attracts the attentions of a young entrepreneur while trying to attract the man's business. 

Mr Carlson is accidentally hypnotized into a chicken, complicating a visit by a Russian radio executive.

The WKRP staffers plan to surprise Mona with a slumber party at her place -- but the real surprise could be on them. 

The station is thrown into a panic when Donovan is the target of an FBI investigation.
