The Night Watchman - Season 1

The ghosts invade the palace after the barrier was torn down due to a meteorite fall at the peaceful capital Hanyang, of Joseon.

While trying to rescue Yeonha, the only descendant of the Magos from Mt. Baekdu, who can grow the 'Thousand-year-flower', king Haejong gets affected by Sadam's magick. He brings a great tragedy upon the palace as he gets more and more lunatic as ever.

The ghost trio, Ddung-Jungseung, Song-Naegwan, and Rang-Yi, cross the styx back and stays around Yi Rin. 

Yi Rin lends a hand to Doha who was captured in a cage, but as soon as Doha grabs Yi Rin's hand she throws him down on the ground.

Gisan-gun draws his blade towards Yi Rin beacause Yi Rin told a lie that he can't see ghosts while he can. 

Doha helps Yi Rin out of the cliff crevice. 

Gisan-gun becomes suspicious of Park Sujong that he might have hid Yi Rin away. Gisan-gun gets furious at the fact that Park had gathered the troops and questions him that if he is threatening the king.

While Ok-mae calls for Cho Sangheon, Yi Rin brushed past Cho Sangheon after having a tussle with Doha. 

Yi Rin is concerned about Doha's wound. Cho Sangheon stops Yi Rin when he catches the two walking out.

Yi Rin asks Cho Sangheon why his father went crazy, but Cho turns back relentlessly saying that he has nothing do with it.

Yi Rin tells Cho Sangheon that the one who summoned the lemures in the capital is Sadam. Hence, Cho tells Yi Rin about what happened to king Haejong in the past.

Yi Rin asks Museok to join him defeat the Pox Demon. Meanwhile, Suryeon gets tortured.

Yi Rin visits Gisan-gun after sighting Park Sujong and Sadam together and tells him that Sadam is the main problem related to Duchang, but he never listenes.

While Yi Rin tells Gisan-gun about bringing his grandmother here, Kim-sang-gung tries to deliver a message to Yi Rin.

Yi Rin gets furious and tries to visit Park Sujong in order to look for the letter that was written in blood by his own mother, but gets dissuaded by Rang-Yi. 

A black ghastful energy comes out from the demon looking at Yi Rin who is asleep, then goes into his ears.

With Doha's aid, Yi Rin breaks free from the ghastful energy. However, he still pretends to be in the sick mode to trick Sadam and eliminate him. 

To distinguish between the two Dohas, Cho Sangheon checks their marking of the Night Watchman. However, they both have the brand which makes them indistinguishable.

Gisan-gun is shocked at the fact that ghosts showed up in the palace and people are dieing because of it. Yi Rin and Doha says that they will be the ones to fight the ghosts. 

Park Sujong launches a coup under the name of saving the country and the government itself. His troops march to the palace.

Park Sujong orders to arrest Yi Rin. Yi Rin shouts out how this coup is reckless and meaningless while getting arrested. 

Park Sujong threatens Jung-Su-Dae-Bi that if she doesn't hand over the royal seal, the palace will be covered in royal blood once and for all.

Yi Rin draws his sword towards Park Sujong who is in possession of the royal seal. The guards charge at Yi Rin when Park orders to arrest Yi Rin.

Sadam gets excited that the dragon god is ascending when the monster serpent flies up the tower.
