In their first group session, one patient struggles to complete a seemingly simple task. In an exercise Dr. Tolin calls "Fear Movies" - one patient has a severe anxiety attack.

Today is the day all patients must stop their compulsions cold turkey. Anxieties run high as the group attempts to deal with this- including not being able to take showers or wash hands. A field trip to Skid Row to face various fears drives one patient to the brink and they consider leaving the program.

One contestant must decide if they will leave the program. For the group- this week is "Family Therapy." Dr. Tolin invites the families of the patients so that they can participate in exposures with their loved ones. It's an eye opening exercise for the families, and in the end, one family member must make a tough decision about whether or not to keep their loved one in the program.
