The 1996 Laurence Olivier Awards
The past year's outstanding performances on the London stage are recognised by the Society of London Theatre in a ceremony held at the Grosvenor House. Many of Britain's foremost actors are amongthose nominated in different categories of the world's premier theatrical awards, including Michael Gambon , Judi Dench and Diana Rigg.
The evening will also include highlights from many of the capital's stage successes, featuring excerpts from Fame, The Glass Menagerie and Company.
