It's showtime, as Matt Baker and Alex Jones are joined by some of the stars of BBC One's festive line-up to turn on the Television Centre Christmas lights, which use the same technology that made Buckingham Palace look like a row of terraced houses. There are live broadcasts to different parts of the country as they celebrate their big switch ons. The choir of Kings College, Cambridge, give a special festive performance.
