The UK's most talked-about reality show returns with a fourteenth series. What will happen during a girly holiday in Tenerife? Can Bobby outdo his revealing outfit from last year? Back in the UK, more drama and romance unfolds against the usual backdrop of flash cars, wine bars and glamorous parties.

Following her big showdown with Elliott, Chloe seeks solace with Vas, leaving Lauren feeling a little left out. The girls' friendship is tested further when it emerges that Lauren, not Vas, gossiped to Leah about Chloe's love life. Spirits are lifted as Dan O celebrates the arrival of baby Ella, but more confrontation is on the horizon as Diags wades in to defend his friend Chloe. Will Elliott finally back down? Meanwhile, Danni's run-in with Lydia prompts her to improve her elocution, Ricky learns of Jess's Tenerife tryst and Bobby takes Ferne to see his white witch.

Arg returns from rehab with a slim new look as well as a positive new outlook. As he faces Lydia for the first time in months, it seems that he has resolved to move on from their rocky relationship. Meanwhile, Jess and Ricky have the mother of all showdowns, Chloe and Lauren have an impromptu but rather awkward lunch date, and Lockie and Charlie organise a badminton doubles match in a bid to reconcile Danni and Ferne.

In an emotional episode, Lydia and Debbie are each heartbroken over their war of words concerning Arg, Vas opens up to Lauren about his sexuality, and Gemma is overwhelmed when Arg makes a heartfelt apology. There are more tears as Georgia worries that Tommy is too distracted to spend any quality time with her, while Charlie laments his poor relationship with Chloe. Can Danni get through to Chloe and encourage her to contact her little brother? During a boys-only pampering session, Bobby finally gets through to Ricky and convinces him to put an end to his feud with Jess.

Lydia and Debbie finally come face-to-face after their big fall-out. Will they manage to patch things up? Meanwhile, Tommy tries his hardest to win Georgia round after their recent wobble, but will what he has to offer be enough for her? Chloe bites the bullet and arranges to meet Charlie for dinner, but as she waits at the restaurant it looks like she could be dining alone.

Tommy and Lockie's friendly rivalry turns sour as they cause a divide over their respective club nights. Who will emerge victorious? Chloe has a visit from a friendly face as she reveals her devastation over Charlie's no-show, Georgia and Fran's recent feud rears its head and Ferne stirs things up as new boy Jake denies kissing Lauren.

Tommy and Georgia are not too happy to hear about Diags and Fran digging them out. Relations are strained further when rumours start flying about Tommy's alleged infidelity. Meanwhile, Jake's insistence that he did not kiss Lauren damages his reputation, Jess and Dan E's mutual attraction finally leads to a date, Danni and Lockie move into their new pad and Chloe and Elliott do some more flirting.

The drama carries on during St Patrick's Day as Tommy rails against Fran and Diags for dredging up the past. Despite Georgia trusting and believing Tommy, does he protest too much? Meanwhile, an embarrassed Jake finally admits to kissing Lauren and tries to make amends, Mario shows his interest in Chloe L, Lockie and Danni bury the hatchet with new neighbour Gemma and Jess goes on a non-date with Dan E.

Relations are still strained after the big showdown at the St Patrick's Day party, with Diags and Tommy each adamant that they are in the right. Having been through a similar situation, Lockie and Danni have some advice for Georgia and Tommy. Elsewhere, Jake and Mario's backbiting comes to a head and Gemma and Bobby host a singles' night.

After recently warming to Elliott again, Chloe S begins to feel smothered and decides to take a step back. With old hostilities between the pair returning, Gemma and Lockie decide to intervene once and for all. Elsewhere, Fran seeks to repair her friendship with Georgia, Jess begins to get cold feet about Dan E, Jake gears up for Chloe L's return from Dubai and the local pooches take part in the Essex 'Top Dog' show.

Jake faces new allegations over his dalliance with Lauren, but can he convince Chloe L that he only has eyes for her? The gang join Dan E on a trip to Wales, where he books a separate room for Jess. Despite his gentlemanly gesture, could this be the night they finally take things further? Elsewhere, Lydia and Arg's flirting sets tongues wagging, Chloe S considers a new life in Spain and Bobby tries to work out what is going on in Gemma's head.

In the penultimate episode this series, Chloe L is no closer to deciding what to do about Jake - has he really changed? Meanwhile, Jake has a few choice words for Ferne, who has been badmouthing him all over Essex. Elsewhere, Lydia wonders whether her flirting with Arg spells the end of her relationship with boyfriend Ben, Lauren confronts Danni about her recent nasty comment, Jess and Dan E's relationship appears to be dead in the water and Chloe S considers her future with or without Elliott.

All the action unfolds against a backdrop of flash cars, nail bars, posh boutiques and fancy parties. Lydia has realised that she just wants Arg, but before they make it official she needs to know that all the skeletons are truly out of his closet. Jake has tried turning over a leaf over the last few weeks in order to win back Chloe L - but she is not sure that Jake is ready for a proper relationship. With Elliott's move to Marbella drawing closer, he is yet to make Chloe a clear offer if she is to join him and make a new life together. Dan E and Jess may be having regrets over their breakup.
