Season 2
Season 2 follows social worker Christine and her family whose loyalties are tested when they're confronted by a stranger.
Christine's family, oldest son Will, youngest son Jamie and daughter Megan, are trying to get on with their lives after the recent tragic death of their brother Liam. As they look forward to Megan's wedding, the family have their lives turned upside down when a stranger, Connor, arrives in town claiming a connection that nobody could have imagined. As buried secrets come to light, they must consider who they are and grapple with morality and divided loyalty. As their lives spiral out of control, a terrible pact may be all that can save them.

Tensions are sky-high at Megan's wedding when Connor turns up uninvited and armed with damning information that Christine is desperate to keep hidden.

Episode 4
After the devastating events at Megan's wedding, Christine brings the Rees family together to make a risky pact. Megan and Jamie finally get some answers.

Episode 5
As the police investigate Connor's disappearance, Christine must pull off her most masterful show of lies yet. The Rees siblings come to blows when Jamie makes a rash decision.

Episode 6
The walls close in on the Rees family as Will becomes the prime suspect in the police investigation. Christine grapples with the reality of Kayla's connection to her family.

She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.
