Welcome to The Playlist Christmas special hosted by our favourite elves - The Vamps - who reveal and play your favourite Christmas tracks. The Vamps get competitive in a festive Race Against the Mic and even try their hand at decorating gingerbread houses without their hands. There will be mince pies, snow, crackers and Tom Fletcher gets to meet a Santa Claus who looks oddly familiar! All of this and Radio 1's Greg James announces the all-important official Christmas number one of 2017.

The Playlist is back for 2018 with some favourite LOL moments such as when Olly Murs and Louisa Johnson took up metal screaming, DAN TDM gamed-up the charts, HRVY met his biggest fan and The Vamps performed - on a roof! Greg James gives us the rundown of the year in music and Dev reveals the UK's latest Official Chart. Also, we find out the track options on RAYE's Playlist.

Raye is back on the Playlist to reveal your most voted for tracks of 2017! She also teaches Lauren a thing or two about New Year resolutions, including knitting and star jumps. Maddison Beer and Josh Pieters also start the New Year with a bang in a hilarious game of Say What and Greg James reveals who has made it into the Official Top 10.

Stylo G joins Lauren for an action-packed show as he reveals which of your favourite three tracks have been voted onto The Playlist. The pair battle it out in Race Against the Mic and Stylo takes some Style tips from Harry Styles. Yxng Bane also joins in the fun for a game of shuffle and Greg James counts down the Official Chart.

X Factor winner Matt Terry joins Lauren Layfield on The Playlist as he tries to avoid getting into any 'Trouble'. The pair reveal your most voted-for tracks, take on Say What and test out Matt Terry's memory. And if all that wasn't enough, Misunderstood play Mr and Mr and Greg James reveals the UK's Official Number One.

Pop princesses MO Join Lauren to reveal the choices you voted for. They go head to head in an intense game of Shuffle and we find out how well MO really know themselves. Also, Mr EAZI takes on the emoji challenge, and if that wasn't enough, Radio 1's Greg James counts down the Official Chart.

Love is in the air this week as BBC Sound of 2018 Winner Sigrid hosts her very own Valentine's Playlist! She reveals which love songs you love and takes part in a Valentine's edition of Race Against the Mic. Craig David also joins the fun with pop, princes and playlists! Also, Greg James reveals the UK's Official Top 10 and treats the Playlist to some hilarious romantic lyric readings.

Nina Nesbitt hosts her very own Playlist this week, with the help of the Playlist's resident Nana - Nana Lauren! The pair reveal which tracks you have voted for this week, they Race Against the Mic... with their zimmer frame... and Nina teaches Nana everything she knows about her favourite pop stars. Not3s also joins in the madness for a game of shuffle and Greg James runs down the Official Top 10.
