Matt Bashir, history teacher and former deputy principal at a prestigious girls' school, is swiftly promoted to principal of Boxdale Boys High. Just when it seems he is making progress, 17-year-old student Karim is found dead on school grounds.
Episode 2
The school is in lockdown as the police begin investigating Karim's death, and Bashir battles to contain the rage of the victim's brother Tarek. Amongst such a volatile gang culture, can Principal Bashir stop Tarek from avenging his brother's death?
Episode 3
At Karim's funeral, Bashir finds himself in the middle of an unfamiliar Muslim ceremony, surrounded by a rag-tag group of students from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Waiting outside with the women during the service, officer Kellie notices something suspicious in the background.
Episode 4
Detective Bilic and officer Kellie narrow down the suspects, but Tarek is certain he knows who the killer is and wants revenge.
