The SIS team open their doors for the first time.

The Bottle Shop
Invited to discover why a research laboratory is losing money, even though they have a monopoly in the medical research trade, the Protectors discover that someone is making overtures to the competition and is prepared to sing - for a price.

Happy is the Loser
Accepting what appears to be a routine assignment, the SIS team suddenly find themselves involved in violence when they are framed by a gang of ruthless racketeers.

No Forwarding Address
Following up a lead, Souter and Shoesmith find themselves in a deserted warehouse which should contain the answer to a riddle they are determined to solve. They find nothing of interest - beyond a dead body.

The Loop Men
An injured railwayman, a loop-line rendezvous at midnight: clues which the Protectors must crack to discover the headquarters of a gang of hijackers - and deliver a young man from a life of crime.

The Stamp Collection
Guarding a world-famous stamp collection which is locked in a bombproof vault hardly seems a dangerous assignment. But the Protectors will need all their guile when they come up against a brilliant criminal.

The SIS team find themselves up against a gang who intend to infiltrate a union to play a sordid game of industrial espionage which could destroy a union official and his family.

A young girl's bid for political asylum and a team of vigilant security men spell trouble for Souter and Shoesmith when they are assigned to investigate the validity of the girl's claims.

The Pirate
Conman Smokey Grey is anxious to unload £30,000 worth of stolen jewels. But the Protectors have other more important things to occupy their minds - Heather has been kidnapped.

The Deadly Chameleon
How - and why - is a timid bank clerk connected to a baffling case of fraud? If they are to save an innocent man's life, the Protectors must find the answer - their dilemma: their chief suspect has disappeared.

Who Killed Lazoryck?
When the past catches up with a highly-placed spy. Souter and Shoesmith find themselves facing a race against time to find the connecting link between the man and a recently-released political prisoner.

Channel Crossing
When personal disaster strikes terror into the heart of a prominent government minister, the Protectors, assigned to guard the man during a luxury cruise, find themselves in very dangerous waters.

Cargo from Corinth
Returning from their last assignment, the Protectors are asked to guard a valuable stature in transit from Corinth to Venice: a mission that once again that once again finds them all at sea and surrounded by sharks - the human variety.

The Reluctant Thief
When Heather falls victim of a wages snatch. Souter and thief find themselves in strange company. Shoesmith meanwhile discovers a surprising motive for the robbery.
