Eva meets with SGA leaders to propose a solution to Georgia A&M's looming financial crisis. Meanwhile, Noni makes a big play to win back Cecil Diamond's trust.

Cedric and Ebonie bring back the resistance track to let the Georgia University system know exactly how they feel. Eva feels powerless and seeks solace in prescription pills and alcohol. When a ruthless loan shark comes to collect, Coach's fight to protect his family turns deadly.

Eva discovers that a trustee is responsible for contract irregularities that benefit him, personally. Cedric and Ebonie feel "Rise Up Together" needs a hook, but the only singer who can do it justice is Cedric's ex—Bronwyn.

Students learn the building they fought to protect faces demolition due to the merger. Eva learns there's an upcoming faculty vote to remove her from the presidency. When BoJohn spots the star recruit QB on his turf again, he crumbles under the pressure and has a public meltdown.

GAMU's students decide to take matters into their own hands, it's time for a revolution! Concerned about whether Bronwyn is pregnant or just trying to trap her son, Cedric's mother pays him a surprise visit and then takes matters into her own hands. BoJohn's father shows up ready to take him home and has a man-to-man with Coach Hardwick, who tries to convince BoJohn not to leave.
