The Ranganation - Season 2

Season 2
The Isolation Edition
Romesh Ranganathan's topical comedy show returns to BBC Two for a second series. However, in tune with the current climate, this series is a little different. Dubbed the ‘isolation edition', Romesh's new studio will be from home, his man den, also known as his garage.
Romesh will be joined virtually by two special 'isolating' guests and together with the help of his hand-picked focus group, The Ranganation, they will mull over the lighter end of the news spectrum, offering much needed respite from a world upended by a pandemic.
Also in isolation, The Ranganation will be beaming in to Romesh's makeshift studio from the comfort of their own homes. Representing a wide cross section of modern Britain, The Ranganation are 20 loveable, gregarious characters, including Romesh's lovely mum, (who would like all to know she is just fine, isolating alone, not far from Romesh, and cooking up a storm).
Renowned for their funny anecdotes and refreshingly real insights, The Ranganation will undoubtedly shed an illuminating light and shared perspective on life in lockdown.
Using the news as a starting point, past discussions with members of The Ranganation such as ‘Privileged', ‘Small Town Girl', ‘Never Voted' and ‘Wheeler Dealer', have covered such disparate areas as the Tory leadership candidates' domestic appliances, potentially losing a finger for one's phone, the sightings of UFOs in Scotland, and the surprisingly divisive subject of washing one's legs in the shower.
Formany of us there are many uncertainties in life right now, but at least Romesh and his gang will undoubtedly offer a bit of light relief from the world outside.
