Beats & Visuals

DJ Target, Krept and Konan set two new challenges for the artists: create a beat and shoot a music video. Working with acclaimed producers The Fanatix, the six artists must articulate their creative visions in the recording studio and create a bespoke backing beat. They have just 30 minutes each. Krept, Konan and Target pick the winning beat, which will be used by all artists in the second challenge - shooting a music video together. They each have eight bars to make their mark, and a budget to ensure their style and props are on point. To help them work on their visual brand, they each visit stylist to the stars, Ayishat Akanbi. But will they embrace her advice? Renowned video director Ashleigh Jadee works with the artists on the shoot. Time is limited as each artist strives to make a visual impact against the clock. Who will pop and who will flop? Manchester rapper Aitch is on hand to give feedback on the finished video before a dramatic twist surprises the artists - for the first time, the rankings are revealed face to face.
