Lenna meets up with Janaye, a talented player who is training hard at a top independent academy. Guided by her coaches, Mollie and Rosie, Janaye is trailing over the summer for some top Women's Super League clubs - but will she make the cut?

Mikey
What is it like to play a sport you've never even seen? Jermaine travels to Newcastle to meet Mikey, a talented blind footballer, to find out. There he learns the challenges Mikey faces on the pitch as he prepares for his first ever competitive match.

Matthew Part 1
We meet Matthew, a talented footballer from the remote Isle of Barra in Scotland who travels hundreds of miles across land and sea to play football. Having been chosen to join a top academy on the mainland he's preparing to move to Glasgow permanently - but not before playing in the most important annual match on the island.

Matthew Part 2
Jermaine travels to Glasgow to meet Matthew, a talented footballer from a remote island off the coast of Scotland. Scouted by a top Scottish academy, he is leaving the island life to move to one of the biggest schools in Europe in order to pursue his footballing ambitions, but will he cope with the new challenge?

Teddie
Is it ever too early to send a footballer to a professional academy? Maddie, who plays Zoe in Jamie Johnson, visits a grassroots club in north London to meet Teddie, a talented footballer. With bigger clubs asking after him, Teddie and his dad have a serious decision to make in the run-up to next season - will they move to a pro academy, or stay and develop his game at grass-roots level?

Jess
Lenna, who plays Jack in Jamie Johnson, travels to Manchester to meet 16-year-old Jess. Having excelled at her previous club, Jess was signed by Manchester City Women's Academy a year ago and after a breakout season, she has already been selected as part of the senior squad. Will she have what it takes to cope with the step up?

Ezra
Jermaine, who plays Wozza in Jamie Johnson, takes time away from the set of Jamie Johnson to meet up with gifted footballer Ezra. Signed to a top academy at six years old, he regularly returns to the grass-roots club in south London where he learnt his skills, in order to keep his competitive edge. Jermaine joins him for the final session before the new season starts, but will he be able to cope with the pressure and keep up with the high standards?

Idris and Jamie Part 1
Louis is in his hometown of Manchester to meet Idris, a young amputee footballer with big dreams. Spotted at school a year ago by a disability coach from Manchester City, Idris now plays every week with a community team. Idris has his eye on a more competitive future, and is hoping to make it to the final training session for the England Amputee team before the World Cup in Mexico.

Idris and Jamie Part 2
In part two, Louis, who plays Jamie in Jamie Johnson, travels to meet Idris at the final England Amputee Football training camp before the World Cup in Mexico. Here they meet England and Manchester City star striker Jamie Tregaskiss, who is an inspiration for Idris and an example of where he could be one day if he keeps up his hard work on the pitch.
