The Real L Word - Season 1

Tracy has recently come out of the closet and announced that she is gay, but has a hard time when her mom isn't very supportive. Meanwhile, Whitney's ex comes to L.A. Elsewhere Nikki and Jill plan their wedding.

Tracy spends the weekend at her girlfriend Stamie's house and strains to keep up with Stamie's three little ones. Is she ready for the responsibility of full-time parenting? Mikey has charged herself with producing the best Fashion Weekend LA has ever seen. After finding the perfect location for her client, she races off to receive an award from the Chamber of Commerce.

It's Valentine's Day! Rose takes Natalie on a romantic getaway, while Jill and Nikki surprise each other with gifts. Tracy is craving alone time with Stamie, but the kids come first. Whitney throws herself into her work on an indie film.

Mikey travels to Las Vegas for a fashion trade show, then tries to book a wedding chapel when she finds out that Raquel will be coming to visit. Whitney decides to tell Tor about her other relationships and faces another awkward encounter when she and Tor run into Romi and Miranda, her trainer, at the bar. Jill and Nikki are excited about the designs for their wedding dresses but are concerned about the hefty price tag. Rose offers an assistant position to Natalie, who is looking for work. Tracy considers pursuing a career in modeling after an agent scouts her at Stamie's comedy show.

Whitney travels to San Francisco to visit Sara but begins to feel insecure when Sara talks about her fondness for unattached hookups. Natalie's frustration about quitting her job causes her to get into an argument with Rose at a family gathering. Nikki and Jill continue to work on wedding plans while watching their budget, but one of them is left without a dress for the big day. Mikey works to close a big deal that will provide her with the money to rent an outdoor space for L.A. Fashion Weekend. Tracy continues to struggle with her mom's disapproval of her lifestyle and her relationship with Stamie.

Rose meets Natalie's mom for the first time, but the meeting is bittersweet when Natalie informs Rose that her mother is sick. Tracy has lunch with her sister and learns that their mom has been asking for information on Stamie, which frustrates Tracy. Nikki and Jill check out wedding locations in Malibu and continue to disagree about their budget. Whitney's relationship confusion continues, and she finds herself jealous of Tor. Mikey travels to New York for a Fashion Week press event but is disappointed when the editors don't show up on the first day.

Mikey is stressed out as L.A. Fashion Week approaches. Nikki and Jill call in an interior decorator as they prepare to host their first Passover Seder, but the scope of the project quickly expands. Whitney and Tor try to work out their tension with a game of paintball, but Whitney's relationship confusion continues when Romi shows up at her house party the following day. Rose is devastated when her grandmother is rushed to the hospital. Tracy visits a psychic and learns some surprising information about her past, then calls her mother to share the news.

Rose makes plans to meet up with her ex-girlfriend after leaving Natalie at the club. Rose's mother also re-enters her life after the two have gone months without speaking. Whitney has to face the fallout from her actions at the house party, and things are further complicated with Sara moving to L.A. in a few days. Nikki finally convinces Jill to book the Malibu house for their wedding location, and the couple starts dance lessons in preparation for the big day. Tracy celebrates her 30th birthday and is thrilled by a surprise visit from her mother, but Tracy isn't convinced that her mother is completely ready to embrace her lifestyle. Mikey handles the last minute snafus to put on an amazing show at L.A. Fashion Weekend and has a trick up her sleeve.

Whitney is excited when Sara moves to LA and the two get along great as they party at Dinah Shore in Palm Springs. However, Romi shows up with a big surprise for Whitney. Rose and Natalie also head for Dinah Shore, and Natalie is concerned if Rose will behave herself among all the women. Mikey plans a big birthday present for Raquel, and the two pack up to meet the other ladies in Palm Springs. Jill is still undecided about her wedding dress, but Nikki surprises Jill with something that will help her find the perfect dress. Nikki's Mom is still in LA, but Tracy is frustrated that she still hasn't fully accepted her relationship with Stamie. With all her friends on hand for her 30th birthday, Tracy challenges her mother to fully accept all aspects of her lifestyle.
