The contestants walked into a White Room Challenge like never before: rather than having a set theme and choosing furniture from the warehouse, the teams were asked to express themselves with an original design, sent out to buy their furniture and fittings and provided with $24,000 per team to spend.
They had 24 hours to get the job done. The renovators all relished being given free reign and a huge budget, but it was the Navy Blue Team’s bedroom/bathroom space that left the judges reeling, winning them the challenge and $20,000 worth of Freedom furniture for the Fibro Cottage.
