Shortly after their wedding, the couple travels abroad for their honeymoon only to tragically drown in an unexpected accident. On the very day the Lu family holds a shareholders' meeting to seize control of Yunhai Group, Xu Haimeng suddenly returns. Not only has she risen from the ashes, but she stages a dramatic comeback, taking back Yunhai with overwhelming force. This leads to a complete falling-out with the Lu family. Lu Siyu, the younger son, becomes her fiercest rival, suspicious of her true identity and determined to uncover the truth behind his brother's death. As the two clash repeatedly, caught in a web of secrets and danger, Lu Siyu finally uncovers the truth about the "deadly honeymoon": Xu Haimeng had been pushed off a cliff by his brother and barely survived after a harrowing struggle between life and death. Everyone believed Xu Haimeng had returned to avenge her husband, but in reality, she came back to expose the true mastermind who ordered her murder. The shocking twist changes Lu Siyu's view of her, and the two go from enemies to reluctant allies, gradually growing closer. But just when things seem to settle, a new blow strikes. Lu Siyu turns out to be the legal beneficiary of Yunhai Group after the attempted murder. Devastated, Xu Haimeng cuts ties with him completely, and in doing so, uncovers a massive, long-buried scandal within the Lu family. Through unwavering resilience, she secures Yunhai's future. Lu Siyu, finally letting go of the betrayal from his family, comes to terms with his pain. Supporting each other through the storm, they rebuild the Yunhai Group and step forward onto a brand-new path in life together.
