The Royal Variety Performance 2022
The actor and comedian Lee Mack hosts the annual entertainment extravaganza to raise money for the Royal Variety Charity, from London's Royal Albert Hall. This year's star-studded events features special performances from Nile Rodgers & Chic, George Ezra, Ellie Goulding, Sam Ryder, Becky Hill, a stunning duet from Hollywood star Rita Wilson and US Jazz sensation Gregory Porter, as well as a Christmas treat from David Baddiel, Frank Skinner, Ian Broudie, the Lightning Seeds and England's Lionesses. More show-stopping moments are provided by the West End casts of the multi-award winning Cabaret and Disney's Newsies, and Cirque Du Soleil also return to the Royal Variety with a death-defying display from their new show, Kurios. As the evening draws to a close, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Gary Barlow, Gareth Malone and the London Youth Choir perform a very special version of Sing, in tribute to her late Majesty The Queen's patronage of the Royal Variety Charity.
