After being forced to close during the pandemic, The Savoy has reopened its doors, but with millions of pounds of revenue lost the hotel faces new challenges.
In a fiercely competitive luxury hospitality market, New MD Franck has big plans to keep the hotel on top, with a refurbishment of the flagship Royal Suite and a new Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
Doorman Tony is emotional to be welcoming old friends back to the hotel, while in the Savoy Grill, Restaurant Director Thierry welcomes dancing queen Shirley Ballas and national treasure Christopher Biggins for dinner.
Guest Experience Manager Sean will do ‘anything as long as it's legal' to look after a wedding party staying in the newly-refurbished, £16,000 a night, Royal Suite by Gucci.
In The Savoy's own Lancaster Ballroom, butler Michael is nominated for a hospitality award, will all Sean's training pay off?
