How will tablets, robots and other gadgets affect how the children play? And what is tech doing to the bodies and brains of this generation of digital natives? Gadget-obsessed Arthur gets the opportunity to meet a cutting-edge robot, but will he view his new friend as a piece of technology or as something more human? Iris, Na'Shae and Keira are each given their own tablet to use, but how does it impact on the girls' friendship and the way that they play together?

This episode uncovers how four-year-olds form relationships with each other and reveals a fascinating world of friendships, rivalries and romances. Love is in the air in the Secret Life playground when Arthur and Iris decide to be boyfriend and girlfriend, but what happens when Frankie also shows an interest in Iris? When best friends Na'Shae and Penny fall out over a hair bobble, can they find a way of resolving their dispute? And a five-metre climbing wall arrives at the nursery, but is anyone brave enough to climb all the way to the top?

In this episode the nursery throws its doors open to a very special international class of children, from across Britain and around the world. Harlo has travelled from Los Angeles to attend the nursery, but what do the other children make of his American ways and in particular his love of guns? When Reilly, whose mum comes from South America, develops a crush on Harlo, will he reciprocate or is this destined to be unrequited love? Syrian refugee Omar has a tough time making friends in the playground, but does anyone stick up for him when the other children gang up on him?

Beyond Skinwalker Ranch
