Episode 1
Soon after receiving cochlear implants, teenager Amelia moves in with her aunt and uncle while undergoing speech therapy. While walking their dog one night, she witnesses a woman being deliberately run over by two men.

Episode 2
Maggie insists that Amelia can tell nobody what she saw, but another witness reports seeing a young girl near the murder site. Jim takes Amelia to the police club where she spots one of the killers.

Episode 3
As the conspiracy deepens, Jim takes Amelia back home to her parents. But when the officer assigned to protect her turns out to be one of the killers, she runs away from home.

Episode 4
Jim seeks to have the drug squad investigated for corruption, but everybody closes rank against him. Meanwhile, Amelia sees that justice is done in her own way.
