The Skinner Boys - Season 1

Season 1
It's Skinner time! World explorer Augustus Skinner left his 4 grandkids a big surprise… the Skinner kids are now Guardians of the Lost Secrets… a collection of artefacts across the world that possess freaky powers, and crazy creatures that nobody ever believed really existed.
As international adventurers, artefact hunters and secret guardians – these teens must live their lives protecting The Lost Secrets against those who would corrupt their powers and endanger the planet.
This is the flipped-out, fun and freakish world of the Skinners. And it all results in loads of freestyle missions, teenage antics and offbeat fun.
Being teens, these kids have a secret weapon – their youth! Nobody would ever guess that four kids would be capable of outsmarting the powerful Shadowy League and protecting the world.

Eye of the Golden Snake
The Skinners are shrunk to centimetres tall by the power of the 'Eye of the Golden Snake'. To catch the thief of this ancient Chinese artefact and restore themselves to their original size, they ride Edward's pet mongoose, Neville, through a speeding train in China, and must fight a sea of slithering snakes.

Curse of the Ghost Train
A runaway train manned by cowboy ghost Calvin Calhoun and his hoard of stolen gold races across the desert plains - the result of an ancient curse placed on the gold by the Native Americans it was stolen from. While Calhoun turns Tara, Charles and Edward into bank robbers, Henry uses some free-style action to defeat Calhoun, stop the speeding ghost train and save the day.

The Sacred Scarab
Evil megalomaniac, Obsidian Stone, brings the mummified Egyptian Prince, Nakthi, back to life so he can damn the Nile with upside down pyramids and thereby prove he is the most powerful man on Earth. But he is as short-sighted as he is greedy. He doesn't count on the pesky Skinners tricking him, by dressing Henry as the mummy, and foiling his megalomaniacal scheme. Will they pull this off… or will they get trapped inside the pyramid in the process? Theme: It's not your clothes but your actions that count.

Molewhistle of East Grinsmead

Wellington appears to go bad, stealing an artifact to give to Stone. The kids give chase but not all is as it appears to be.

Blood Blossom
While camping, Charles and Tara stumble on the fearsome Venorok. The only way to stop is to put it to sleep with the scent of the Blood Blossom. Luckily Augustus Skinner stored a seed in the attic, but when Edward and Henry plant it, the Blood Blossom grows at an alarming rate, takes over the mansion and traps Julia & Wellington.

The Tibetan Map of Destiny
In a small monastery in the mystic mountains of Tibet, evil Obsidian Stone tricks the Skinner kids and steals Tara's amulet. However, when he tries to use it to see the future for his own evil purposes, he soon discovers that it doesn't work. That's because Tara is the precious artefact, not her amulet. Who knew? No one is more surprised than her cousins, the Skinner boys. Theme: Your destiny is up to you.

Grandpa Skinner's Journal
The Skinner's arch-rival, Obsidian Stone, sneaks into the Skinner mansion with Pygmalion's Chisel, an artefact that can make pictures become real objects. All seems lost when he sets about materializing all the artefacts in Grandpa's journal for his own use.

The Ministry of Time
The Ministry of Time, a newly established government department, is gathering ‘expats' from across history in an experiment to test the viability of time-travel. Commander Graham Gore (an officer on Sir John Franklin's doomed 1845 Arctic expedition) is one such figure rescued from certain death – alongside an army captain from the fields of the Somme, a plague victim from the 1600s, a widow from revolutionary France, and a soldier from the seventeenth century.
The expats are placed with 21st century liaisons, known as 'bridges', in unlikely flatshares. Gore has to learn about contemporary life from scratch: from air travel to industrial warfare, from feminism to Spotify, from cinema to indoor plumbing; and he must negotiate cohabiting with the ambitious modern woman who works as his bridge. After an awkward beginning, the pair start to find pleasure and comfort in each other's company, developing a relationship that is simultaneously tender, intense and profoundly unprofessional; and the expats, adrift in a new era, form friendships that ground and support them in the lonely 21st century, where they have outlived everyone they ever knew and loved.
When a deeper conspiracy at the Ministry begins to reveal itself, the bridge must reckon with what she does next. Will she save or sacrifice the exiled misfits she has come to care for so deeply?
