Stone is held hostage by the Cobras street-gang, which demands an exchange for its wounded leader who was captured in a bungled robbery. Keller and Devitt scour the city's seamy underside in their search for their friend and colleague.

The House on Hyde Street
Three young boys open a Pandora's Box when they sneak into an eccentric old man's home, a mysterious house rumored by their parents to contain a million-dollar treasure.

Beyond Vengeance
A homicidal rapist that Stone had put away twelve years earlier is released and begins waging psychological warfare on Stone by stalking his daughter Jeannie.

The Albatross
A child is murdered in a bungled burglary and the killer is set free on a legal technicality. Despite Stone's strenuous objections, the grieving father is determined to take justice into his own hands.

Shattered Image
A high-powered Commerce Dept. official is harpooned on a pleasure boat. Stone and Keller sift through the suspects, among whom are a senator, a boat builder and the grieving widow, who is an old friend of Stone's from the Potrero.

The Unicorn
Grand theft cobra venom? That is what seems to be the charge, along with murder, when a robbery attempt of an Asian ship goes wrong and leads to a wild gunfight.

Legion of the Lost
After three winos are brutally beaten to death, Stone goes undercover as a bum to crack the case.

After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.
