Helen is called to investigate the death of an archaeologist - a mystery which Shirley proves unexpectedly, although accidentally, helpful in solving.

Greek Detective Helen Moustakas and her half-sister, Kiwi farmer Shirley Rangi, get involved in the investigation of a British TV chef's sudden death. Both Helen's mother Alexa and her daughter Thalia, are big fans of her show. Little does Helen know that this admiration eventually will put Thalia in great danger, and she and Shirley will need to work together to solve the crime and save Thalia.

However, their work colleague George has a more pressing matter, his Cypriot cousin has been accused of murder. Helen and Shirley help to solve the baffling death of a sports promoter, and in doing so, get closer to finding their Dad.
