Highlights from the opening round of matches in the 2023 Super League season and the World Club Challenge.
St Helens claimed the Super League title for the fourth consecutive year in 2022 and start the new campaign on the other side of the globe, taking on the Australian champions Penrith Panthers. The hugely-anticipated contest will see some of the best players on the planet competing for the right be called world club champions.
There are five matches in round one of Super League. Newly-promoted Leigh Leopards begin life back in Super League at home to Salford Red Devils, last year's runners-up Leeds travel to Warrington and Hull KR face Wigan.
Tony Smith takes charge of Hull FC for the first time when his new team play Castleford and Wakefield Trinity are at home to Catalans Dragons.

Each week, the winner of each challenge earns control of ‘The Saving Ceremony', an elimination that is about who will save certain contestants with people making friends, faking friends, or sparking romantic connections with the winner taking home $100,000.
