One for the Angels
When Mr. Bookman, a sidewalk salesman gets visited by the angel of death, informing him that he will be dying at midnight that night, he convinces the angel that he has one big pitch to make before he dies. The angel agrees to a delay, but instead causes a neighbor's daughter to have an accident and "Mr. Death" comes to take her. Mr. Bookman realizes he has to make the pitch of his life.
