In the season two premiere, the "blind auditions" are held in front of the celebrity panel of coaches including, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton, who each hand pick 12 vocalists for their individual teams. The strongest vocalists from across the country compete to be selected by one of the coaches and fight for a chance to win the title of being named "The Voice." Christina Aguilera teams up with Jewel and Lionel Richie, Adam Levine with Alanis Morissette and Robin Thicke, Cee Lo Green with Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and Ne-Yo, and Blake Shelton with Kelly Clarkson and Miranda Lambert. In this phase the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other in a dueling duet. America will vote to save artists on each team, leaving coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton to decide during the live results show who they will save and who will not move on.
