Season 1

Episodes

Magnum Octopus
Gustaf decides that Peggy, The Void's lead actress, is too pregnant to continue with the role. She is replaced by Lu, who Gustaf moves into the share-house, kicking Wilton out of his room and forcing him to bunk with Fex, who is naturally displeased with the whole arrangement.

Contra-zoom Moments
Lu signs a contract with Gustaf and unwittingly becomes trapped on the 12-year-old project just like the others. She figures out a loophole that will allow her to get extra money by finding a job outside the entertainment industry. Meanwhile, Wilton's loss of a bedroom forces him to "sleep around".

Brain Squirts
Lu and Fex get together in Fex's room to start brainstorming ideas for a script, but are constantly distracted by where their imaginations take them. Gustaf sends Milly on a mission to record genuine canned laughter for cinema's first feature film laugh track.

3D-001
Gustaf now wants to make The Void in 3D and orders Ed to build a 3D camera. In an attempt to salvage 12 years of pain and misery, Fex tries to invent a means of converting the footage they've already filmed. When the invention backfires, he and Lu are transported into Fex's computer and must navigate an assortment of retro games in order to escape.

Pornoplasty
Embracing controversiality, Gustaf has decided he wants to put the first full-frame blow-job into a PG-rated movie. Dismissing the growing concern amongst the gang that The Void is turning into a porno, he commissions Fex to cast an erect penis from one of the guys. Wilton draws the short straw.

Fifth Wheel
After learning each other's true names, the housemates wake up the following morning as their outlandish alter-egos. Meanwhile, Gustaf has learned that his underlings are getting extra work outside the creative industry, and he exploits Wilton's unwavering loyalty to trick them into signing more restrictive contracts. When the other discover that Wilton is driving the signed contracts to Gustaf's unit on the Gold Coast, they embark on a ludicrous mission to stop him.
