7am: The Justice Department is going full steam ahead on President Trump's retribution campaign as they're on the verge of potentially bringing criminal charges against former Trump National Security Adviser John Bolton.He would be the third person on Trump's enemies list to be targeted after the DOJ indicted New York Attorney General Letitia James and former FBI Director James Comey. Former CIA Director John Brennan and Liz Oyer, former DOJ Pardon Attorney and Federal Public Defender, joins "The Weekend" to discuss.

8am: Federal employees are feeling the full weight of the government shutdown as it heads towards its third week. The Trump administration began laying off more than 4,000 federal workers, and an administration official warns that more are imminent. Employees who remain continue to work without pay. Lashanda Palmer, a TSA employee and leader of the local American Federation of Government Employees Union in Philadelphia, joins "The Weekend" to discuss the personal impact of the shutdown.

9am: New York Attorney General Letitia James was indicted by a grand jury on one count of bank fraud and one count of false statements to a financial institution just a week after President Trump publicly directed U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to indict James. The president is also broadening his military takeover across the nation as the National Guard began patrolling the city of Memphis. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison joins The Weekend to discuss the president's use of armed forces in American cities. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries also joins The Weekend to discuss the government shutdown weaponization of the justice department.
