Comey's lawyers are now filing a new motion asking the judge to throw out the charges based on the reckless and ill-conceived" attempt to prosecute him. Paul Butler and Miles Taylor join The Weekend to discuss why the DOJ's case against Comey may be falling apart.
9am: Six Democratic lawmakers are facing an onslaught of threats after making a video encouraging U.S. military members to refuse illegal orders. In response, President Donald Trump accused these lawmakers of "seditious behavior" which he said could be "punishable by death." One of the lawmakers featured in that video, Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander, joins "The Weekend" to share her reaction to Trump's comments.
