The case against James, specifically, is being sought by interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan, a former member of President Trump's legal team with no prosecutorial experience, who accused James of misleading a bank to secure favorable mortgage terms. 8am: There is no movement in sight on Capitol Hill as Republicans continue their strategy to stay home to avoid ending the standoff.
