In response, Trump filed a libel lawsuit, seeking at least $10 billion in damages against the parent company of the newspaper, News Corp, its publisher, Dow Jones; two reporters for the newspaper, News Corp's chief executive, Robert Thomas, and its owner, Rupert Murdoch.
