A Guy for Clementine
Mitch and Andy meet a girl named Clemmie who rode into town on a motorcycle. She's looking for her father, a rodeo performer she hasn't seen since her childhood, because Clemmie wants to make sure that he attends her wedding.

Journey Down a Dusty Road
Andy and Mitch get into an argument, so Mitch hitches a ride to the next rodeo with a family of intinerant farmers, who are looking to make a new start elsewhere after their farm was destroyed by a flood.

Who Killed Eddie Gannon?
Eddie Gannon was killed in action during the Korean War. One of his buddies, Paul Corbelo, charges that Eddie died because of the cowardice of one of the other soldiers when they got together with Mitch at a reunion.

What Are Friends For?
It took some doing, but policeman Burt Carter finally jails Julio Perez for drunken driving and resisting arrest. And Carter hasn't heard the last of Julio---he soon finds himself involved in charges of police brutality.

Straitjacket for an Indian
Mitch decides to buy horses from an Indian reservation and sell them to the rodeo. His Indian friend, Bullriver is supposed to deliver the horses.

When Andy meets Price and strikes up a friendship with him, he's overwhelmed by all of the exciting things that Price has done---or least, by all of the stories about them.

Walter Guthrie pays a visit to hid nephews Mitch and Andy, but he's also a grifter who cheats people out of their money.

My Candle Burns at Both Ends
The Guthrie brothers meet up with beautiful Valerie Moore, who seems to find Mitch very attractive. But Valerie's life is a battle against time---she's dying of Leukemia.
