When Kirsty from Birmingham is matched with Andy from Nuneaton, there's an immediate attraction but when things start moving fast, is it all too much, too soon? And when Natalie meets Rogan, the sexual chemistry is obvious but will their relationship go any deeper?

The experiment to create 500 new couples using the power of science continues. But will any of them even like each other? Will any last the whole year? Will any fall in love? Will young hunk Travis win over recruitment consultant Amanda despite the age gap? Will dancer Ruth give Sam a chance even though he's terrible at keeping in touch? Sasha and Andrew seem like the perfect match, but will they get past a disastrous first date?

When glamour model Abbie is matched with fireman Chris the sparks fly, but will they find love? 26-year-old Mel has never had a proper boyfriend, so will her scientific match be the one? Racing driver Annalese is challenged to a go-kart race by her city trader match Chris, but will it be the start of something special?

Mandy has lots of dates but they never last, so will Stuart, her scientific match, be different? When born again virgin Crystal meets businessman Sean she's not convinced he's right for her, but as they are compatible on paper she gives him a second chance. Manchester United fan Nigel brings flowers and a football shirt for his match Ellisa and they embark on a whirlwind romance, but is it too much too soon?

A look back at the series about an experiment to create scientifically-compatible couples in the lab, revisiting those who made it to the end of the year and some of those that didn't. Why did it work for some, but not for others? The experts also explain how the science of compatibility worked to create all the couples that took part.
When we last saw Kirsty and Andrew they were loved up on the beach in Newquay. As the New Year fireworks light up the night sky over the Thames did they go from strength to strength? We left Mel and Chris looking like a married couple on a romantic weekend in Edinburgh. As the Christmas presents were unwrapped had their love grown? Travis and Amanda had a stormy relationship. Have they kept seeing each other since their night of romance in a London hotel? Mandy and Stuart were drawn closer to each other by bereavement. As the New Year came were they still happily together?
