Episodes

Episode 1
Ivy Moxam makes a desperate 999 call from a phone box, and escapes from the cellar, her prison for the last 13 years. DI Elliott Carne and DS Lisa Merchant have no clue how to proceed with the case and so question Ivy about her time while imprisoned. As they realise that she is who she says she is, there's a leak to the press and the police have to quickly get to the Moxam family before they hear the news from the tabloids. The family are reunited, with younger sister Emma being the only one to have doubts. The police find the home that Ivy was held prisoner, but the kidnapper is long gone. However in the home, there is obvious evidence that Ivy may have been lying the entire time about who she really is.

Episode 2
More pressure is put on Ivy to relive an ordeal she would much rather forget, as the investigation into missing ten-year-olds intensifies. Mark White is confirmed as been the one who has kidnapped Phoebe. Merchant has a suggestion that may jog Ivy's memory, but her behaviour makes him suspicious. She reaches out to Tim, but is shattered by his betrayal.

Episode 3
The police investigation makes some breakthroughs, but Carne and Merchant find themselves on opposing sides. Ivy's family life implodes as lies are uncovered.

Episode 4
Ivy is arrested and questioned about the body discovered at Colbridge Road. She goes into shutdown and it is up to Christina to set Ivy free from the guilt that burdens her.

Episode 5
Ivy is forced to face her past and put herself at risk in order to save Phoebe. Carne and Merchant do everything they can to protect her, but in underestimating Mark White they have left their own lives hanging in the balance.
