The lovers
England, 1936. A group of young surrealist artists, including René Magritte and Salvador Dalí, gather at the impressive West Dean estate for a private exhibition. When a shocking murder occurs, Scotland Yard is called in and the estate is sealed off.

The glass gun
West Dean is shaken by a new incident. While the surrealist artists begin to suspect each other, Scotland Yard's investigation focuses on a single guest. Paranoia spreads, secrets unravel, and new facts about Sheila's past emerge.

The lobster telephone
The guests pay a fitting tribute, while Scotland Yard discovers who will receive a surprising inheritance. Magritte begins his own quest for the truth, which brings him horribly close to the murderer.

The phantom lady
New guests arrive in West Dean, bringing added tension. While Quant and Thistlethwaite try to put the finishing touches on things, a masked figure emerges from the shadows. Is it a warning, or something far more dangerous?

As Lord James's VIP guests arrive and the countdown to the exhibition begins, the tension reaches a breaking point: a new missing person has appeared.
