Ahead of the 80th anniversary of VE day this week, thousands are taking part in street parties across the country this Bank Holiday Monday and This Morning viewers were today invited tothe show's very own VE Day Street Party with Emma Willis and Rylan Clark.
A host of special guests joined them throughout the show, including the VE veterans who shared their memories of 1945, as well as serving members of the armed forces, and Craig Doyle was live from Wellington Barracks where preparations for today's military parade were underway. Coronation Street star Bill Roach also shared his memories of VE.
In a moving film during the show, Eva Speakman visited Auschwitz to honour and share the story of her grandfather, Jerzy Bielski, who was a survivor of Auschwitz.
