The Gallardo siblings struggle to go on after losing their parents in an accident. Arturo, the eldest, is in charge of Alma, Flavio and Samuel. But misfortune hits them again when Alma falls for a powerful rancher, Ignacio del Junco, a married man. Despite loving each other, the couple finds strong opposition. Alma gets pregnant, and Ignacio wants to leave everything behind for her. Their love ends tragically. The Gallardos decide to enter the ranch in disguise to find out what happened to Alma.
