After Tom's brief encounter with Ellen on a wheelie bin and under her car door, he is determined to see her again.

Tom and Ellen's date goes off the rails. He attempts to get things back on track at a Welsh Thai fusion restaurant, but allergies, lust and criminal charges take over.

Tom's mind is set on transforming Ellen's birthday by inviting her round for the lasagne she misses so much. His dad and his dad's snails help to ensure it's an unforgettable night.

Using Ellen's favorite show as inspiration, Tom plans a date to the most romantic spot in the UK. When he reveals his plans to his family, they decide to come along too - and so does Ellen's flatmate, Hermione, who secretly invites Ellen's ex-boyfriend, Luke.

It's the hottest day of the year, and people are feeling a little frisky. Could tonight be the night for Tom and Ellen? Will they make it that far, before the heat of the day pushes one of them over the edge?

Tom's Dad has discovered that Ellen's got a criminal record, just as she's having her tag removed. Ellen's discovered that she's got a grandfather, just as she's returning to Leeds.
